# Trading

[🤖• commands](https://discord.com/channels/1354492093426303158/1409453984716165171) channel on the [**official Runner bot server**](https://discord.gg/rpb7DruFST) lets users access the following trading commands:

`/trading` - set up default buy, sell & slippage parameters. Export your wallet private key if needed.

`/holdings` - access your wallet address, balance and check what you hold.

### SET UP YOUR WALLET FOR TRADING WITH RUNNER

1. **Go to the official** [**Runner bot server** ](https://discord.gg/rpb7DruFST)**-** [🤖• commands](https://discord.com/channels/1354492093426303158/1409453984716165171) channel&#x20;
2. **Use the `/trading`  command**

*You will see your current wallet SOL balance and wallet address.*&#x20;

3. **Users must top up their wallet balance first, otherwise bot won't be able to trade.**&#x20;
4. The next and most important step would be **to set up the Runner wallet and default settings for BUY, SELL and SLIPPAGE.**&#x20;

* **⚙️BUY SELL SLIPPAGE** - press these buttons to set up the ***default trade size and slippage***. You can always change it later, but you need to set it up first.
* 🗂**HOLDINGS** - `/holdings`  see the list of your token holdings. You can then press on the token from the list to buy or sell it.&#x20;
* ⬇️**EXPORT WALLET** - export your wallet. Export is available in two formats for different wallet dapps (Phantom, Solflare etc)
* **REFRESH**🔄 - press to check your balance in real time.&#x20;

5. If you've followed the steps above, you're ready to trade with Runner.&#x20;

### TRADING FROM REPORTS

**Every token report provided by Runner (no matter the place - our server, or your server) has instant BUY, SELL buttons with presets, so you can quickly analyse the token and make a move.**&#x20;

You will see the presets:&#x20;

* By pressing the 🟢BUY button - the bot will buy your selected DEFAULT amount. To change it, please use the `/trading` command.
* By pressing the🔴SELL button - the bot will sell your selected DEFAULT percent. To change it, please use the `/trading` command.

**Your trades are visible to you only.**

When you sell 100% of the token, the bot will send you a direct message with your PnL card.&#x20;

👉 To receive it make sure that our bot can send you DMs.&#x20;
